With your dance classes, I’ve never experienced such a vigorous and super fun workout and didn’t know that I was capable of sweating and moving the way that you push us to! Now I speed to the studio with great anticipation and even stand in front sometimes! Look at me, shopping in sporting goods stores, throwing my gym bag into my car after work, rescheduling other things in my world, so that I don’t miss your class! If my loved ones can’t reach my cell–they now assume I’m at the dance studio instead of on my couch! Who is this person? Whose life is this? Oh yeah, this is my life now!!!”
I just wanted you to know that I appreciate you. I’m really honored to be your student. Thank you becoming such a big influence in my world and changing my entire outlook. I’m transitioning careers this summer, and I’ve honestly thought about ways to become part of the health and wellness movement on my own–particularly within underserved communities. I’d love to pay it forward. Truly, you’ve inspired me on every level. Your support and continued encouragement mean the world to me. Thank you for the opportunity to dance along side you every week. I’m your biggest fan!
I started taking Zumba with Wil over a year and a half ago after a friend recommended taking his class at Your Neighborhood Studio. We mustered up the courage and decided to try it. At first I felt awkward, self-conscious and uncoordinated, but soon I was able to get out of my head and just let loose and enjoy myself. Wil has a great way of making you feel free, like you were a born dancer. I enjoyed myself so much that I found myself taking Zumba every chance I got, usually 4-5 times a week. I also started adding his hip hop class to my weekly schedule. Not only did I find myself loving to dance, but I realized that I was physically and mentally transforming. My body was becoming fit and defined. I was losing weight. To my surprise, I also started gaining inner strength and self-confidence. Not only was I getting in touch with my body again, but I was also getting more in touch with my dreams and what I wanted out of life. The artist inside of me that I had suppressed for so long was finally free to come out. I gained the courage to get back into an acting class, something that I had been putting off for years. For the first time, I enrolled in a singing class. I soon found myself starting to audition and actually booking work. I am currently in a sketch comedy show in Hollywood where I am writing and starring in sketches. Agents, managers and casting directors are scheduled to come see us once we open. When I stepped back and truly thought about the origin of this recent artistic evolution, I traced it all back to Wil. I would like to personally thank you , Wil. You have given me the confidence and tools to become the person I have always wanted to be. I know the best is yet to come and you will be there to experience it with me as I continue in your classes.
Mommy, why are you so drenched?” my daughter asked me the first time I came home from your wonderful, yet excruciating Zumba class. Although painful, that didn’t stop me from returning the following Sunday. Why painful you ask? Well, I recently had foot surgery. And frankly, I couldn’t wait for therapy to be over so I could do something exciting. Bike riding? Done it before. Hiking? Did that too … Zumba? Sounds like fun … And boy it was. I truly enjoy your class!
I met Wil while taking his Zumba dance classes. Wil is a young man with endless talent. He generates opportunities for growth you never thought possible. The passion he has for his work has created a following of believers who have found strength and a wholeness of mind-body connection. Wil has this incredible insight that allows him to connect with everyone on an individual basis. He has this amazing ability to motivate you in such a way, that allows you to reach your human birthright of power. In ending, I know everyone Wil touches feels the way I do. I am a senior citizen and Wil has done wonders for my body and mind. I feel extremely fortunate to have Wil in my life.
